Hi everyone,
I'm planning on a 10-day holiday in NZ to cover both South and North Island. I know it's very stringent... Could you guys run your eyes over the below schedule? Please let me know if there's anything to be added / cut off.
I'm looking to spend 7 days in south and 3 days in north.
- Day 1: Arrive Christchurch, explore, stay @ Christchurch
- Day 2: Drive to Lake Tekapo, stay @ Lake Tekapo
- Day 3: Drive - stop at Mt Cook, Lake Wanaka, stay @ Wanaka
- Day 4: Drive to Queenstown, stay @ Queenstown
- Day 5: Day trip to Milford Sound, stay @ Queenstown
- Day 6: Drive to Te Anau, explore, drive back to Queenstown, stay @ Queenstown
- Day 7: Explore Queenstown, fly to Auckland (pm). Arrive Auckland, explore, stay @ Auckland
- Day 8: Drive from Auckland to Roturua, explore, then drive to Lake Taupo
- Day 9:
- Day10: Fly back to Sydney
